THE OUTSIDE THE FEED JOURNAL

Introducing The Objects

Everyday things designed to become quiet reminders to pause, look up and make space for real life beyond the screen.

Our journals began with a simple idea: that life is worth remembering.

Not just the big moments, but the ordinary ones too. The Tuesday morning coffee. The walk home. The conversation you nearly forgot. The people, places and little details that quietly make up a life.

So each week, we give you a reason to stop for a few minutes and remember.

But we started thinking about the rest of the week.

Because a journal can become a habit. A few quiet minutes at the end of the week. A moment to put your phone down and think about what actually happened.

But what about all the moments in between?

That's where The Objects come in.

We wanted to create everyday things that could quietly remind you of the same idea: there is a whole life happening outside the feed.

Not loudly. Not with notifications. Not by asking for your attention.

Just there, in the background, becoming part of your everyday life.

The morning coffee.

You make your coffee.

You sit down for five minutes before the day properly begins. You reach for your phone, almost without thinking.

And there it is.

Your mug.

A small reminder that you don't have to fill every quiet moment.

You can just drink your coffee.

Look out of the window.

Let your morning be your morning.

The rest after the run.

You've been out for a run.

You're tired, a little sweaty, and you sit down for a minute. You reach for your phone while you catch your breath.

Instead, you reach for your water.

A drink. A pause. A few minutes to notice where you are.

You don't need to document the run.

You don't need to see what everyone else is doing.

You were there.

That's enough.

The journey home.

You've been shopping.

The tote is over your shoulder as you sit on the train home. Bags at your feet. Music playing. The world moving past the window.

And for once, there's nothing you need to scroll through.

You can just sit there.

Watch the journey.

Think about your day.

Or think about absolutely nothing.

Because not every empty space needs filling.

That's what The Objects are about.

They're not designed to compete for your attention.

They're designed to become part of the moments when you don't need your phone.

A mug for the slow mornings.

A water bottle for the miles you walk and run.

A tote for the places you go.

Simple, useful things that move through real life with you.

And just like The Week That Was, they're built around a simple belief:

Your life is happening now.

Not in your camera roll.

Not in your notifications.

Not somewhere further down your feed.

Here.

So make the coffee.

Take the run.

Get on the train.

Carry your things.

Look up.

Make space for real life.

OUTSIDE THE FEED.
